CELEBRATING CHINESE NEW YEAR! SU! STYLE!

It's the Year of the Rabbit!   

Hsiao-hui was certainly ready for it and she had the most wonderful Chinese delicacies for us to try.  Everyone brought a little something to share and it was a fun evening for all!  We stamped away and had a lot of fun!

Here are some highlight photos from the party featuring our hostess Hsiao-hui!

Hsiao-hui used the new Petal Cone Die for SU! Big Shot to make us Chinese New Year Favors.  These were beautiful!  She used RED Glimmer Paper and the new Punch Bunch Saleabration Stamp set!

I absolutely love Hsiao-hui's creation.  Look closely or click on the petal cone above.  You can see that Hsiao-hui embossed these as well, using the dots embossing folder.  They were so elegant. The little chinese umbrella in the cone was an added touch!

And they were filled with chocolates! Yum! Yum!

This is the card that Hsiao-hui demonstrated!  Absolutely gorgeous!  She die cut the red glimmer paper too and embossed the designer paper with the new tulip border folder for the SU! Big Shot.  The bunny is a Saleabration stamp set you can earn FREE - Forest Friends - stamped on a medallion from artistic etchings stamp set.  So beautiful!

This card has a neat way of being held closed.  There is a glimmer brad that holds it in place.  So Cool!

 

I think that was a clever idea.  Hsiao-hui certainly teaches us some of the neatest things!
