I MET CHRIS DAVIS OF THE BALTIMORE ORIOLES

Here's an MDS digital page of my meet up with first baseman CHRIS DAVIS from the BALTIMORE ORIOLES baseball team.  My husband asked me to join him in meeting Chris so that we could get some autographs, photos, and just meet the home run king.  I have loved Chris Davis since he joined the Orioles. He's really tall, so I'm glad we were sitting for the photo. He was such a nice gentleman and autographed all our memorabilia.   It was a thrill to meet him and chat with him and wish him and the Orioles well.  I designed this page so that it looks like we are highlighted on the scoreboard at Camden Yards in Baltimore.  You can easily do this with My Digital Studio by SU!

REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH TOUR IS HERE TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT!

Right here, tonight!  This will be the place to be at midnight at the REMARKABLE STAMPERS embark on the STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR using stamps from the HOLIDAY HAPPINESS catalog by SU!  Here's one of the projects I created using the MAGNIFICENT MAPLE stamp.  I thought this project by CONNIE STEWART was so adorable.  I'm decorating my holiday table with great FALL ideas from the catalog. You can view your catalog by clicking the link on the right side of my blog.

I used the retired SU! color MORE MUSTARD ribbon and ink on this project so I didn't want to present it for the blog tour, but I thought it would be a great teaser project.  The Thanks Much sentiment is from the TRULY GRATEFUL stamp set.  This little box holds candies or any little gift, possibly money for some lucky recipients.  The EARLY ESPRESSO topper for this baglet is die cut using the BRAND NEW DECO LABELS FRAMELITS by SU!
Deco Labels Collection Framelits Dies
Deco Labels Collection Framelits Dies 130102

REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH TOUR COMING THIS SUNDAY - MAGNIFICENT MAPLE

You have to check the REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH tour this SUNDAY, starting right here.  We will be showcasing stamp sets from the SU! HOLIDAY HAPPINESS catalog which is out right now.  I am going to showcase the MAGNIFICENT MAPLE stamp set.  Here's a project we created at the SU! CONVENTION using this stamp and our NEW MUSLIN BAGS.  These bags are adorable. My friend Linda Kincaid is really "wowed" by them and after stamping on them I can see why.
I stamped the maple leaf using EARLY ESPRESSO ink. Do you see how clearly the images stamp on the muslin?  This is great quality from SU!  Also, SU! showed us how to tie a chevron ribbon to the ties of the muslin. Isn't this a clever touch.  I added stamped images from the stamp set TRULY GRATEFUL.  This is going to be great for mini gifts and place settings at my holiday table.

RITA GORRICK PRESENTS A SU! PETAL CARD MADE WITH THE BIG SHOT - STAMP CAMP

Rita delighted all of us with this awesome petal card.  She made it using the die cut scallop circle for the BIG SHOT by SU! and also with SU! punches.  Rita used awesome DSP by SU! that we all earned for FREE at SALEABRATION earlier in the year.
I love how Rita alternated the coordinating designer paper.  She die cut the dsp with the circle die.  The colors are gorgeous.
The belly band really makes the card.  It's beautiful.  I love how belly bands slide off and on and keep the card in place.
When you open the belly band, you see a cool sentiment inside on punched card stock that is layered with coordinating colors and then a larger die cut dsp circle.

Here are some fun photos of RITA demonstrating and several of us making the project.  Thanks RITA!

REGARDING DAHLIAS HELLO FROM LISA CHATTERJEE - AWESOME SWAP CARD

REGARDING DAHLIAS is the next stamp set from SU! that I must have.  I think this flower would be so pretty heat embossed and layered to make it 3 dimensional.  I'm going to have to try this at the next REMARKABLY HOT RETREAT that my upline JANET WAKELAND is sponsoring in Harrisburg, PA on 10/4-6.  Lisa Chatterjee used this stamp set for one of her swap cards at CONVENTION.  Lovely, is what I have to say.

I love the additional touches of the butterfly with rhinestones and the doily.  The paper is VENETIAN ROMANCE. Thanks Lisa for sharing one of your cards with me.

I actually have a lot of swap cards to share and I still need to share the rest of our Stamp Camp cards.  More coming tomorrow and the rest of this week and of course as long as I can share with you.

MORE STAMP CAMP PROJECTS - CINDY GESKEY AND ARLEEN GRAHAM DEMONSTRATE

Last week I mentioned our great STAMP CAMP.  I also noted that I still had projects and photos to share. Here are 2 more great projects. One is by Cindy Geskey and then below the photos from the camp is the project by Arleen Graham.

The first project uses the NEW MODEL CLAY from SU!.  We had so much fun playing with this clay, making roses, and buttons and stamping on it and coloring it.  Cindy Geskey brought the clay and showed us some cool tips. She also brought cards and samples for us to see and even had a great card for us to make.

 Cindy designed some beautiful cards.
Everyone really got into the clay and loved stamping different impressions into it.
Above are a few of the things I made with the clay. This clay dries fairly quickly and does not need to be oven set.  Once dry, you can trim any excess edges.

The card below is one of the cards Cindy obtained in the clay swap she was in at convention. I'm not sure who made the card but it is beautiful and it showcases some of the different molds you can get for the clay from SU!. Sorry it's sideways.  I tried turning it so many different ways when I was writing this post and couldn't get it to turn.  It was too beautiful not to share.

This next card is from ARLEEN GRAHAM.  What a lovely card. Arleen used the stamp set WILDFLOWER MEADOW which coordinates perfectly with the EMBOSSING FOLDER - both by SU!
And here is ARLEEN  next to Sharon.  I'm not sure which project they are working on.  I got behind a little in photographs at this point.
Arleen is below in the sunglasses.  The same day as stamp camp we celebrated Cathy's milestone birthday and so Cathy is wearing the lei.  We really did a lot that day.

And here we have Arleen and Sharon and Cathy.  Cathy is sharing the inside of one of the cards she received for her birthday.
Linda joined in for the photo as well.

Ok, stay tuned.  As I get more of the photos and projects photographed, I'll be sharing more.  We still have to share Hsiao hui's project and Lisa's project.

JP TURNS 13 - MDS MONDAY

I was going through some photos the other day as I get ready for my scrapbooking weekend next month.  I found some cool photos I had not scrapbooked of my son JP's 13th MILESTONE birthday.  I also had MDS open and here's what I came up with.  I somewhat modified a premade digital page.  Try your hand at MDS - head on over to www.mydigitalstudio.net and trial it for FREE!

I love the digital washi tape!  I also like the torn paper effect. Look at my text box.  It's so teenager!

TAPE IT BY SU! BRAND NEW STAMP SET

The hottest trend on the market these days for embellishing cards, scrapbook pages, SMASH books, journals, and all kinds of crafts is WASHI TAPE.  SU! has a stamp of tapes.  Here's a very easy card I created by just inking up some of the stamps and stamping them onto whisper white card stock with a sentiment.  EASY PEASY!

I used the NEW SU! LOTS OF THANKS stamp set that I featured the other day as my sentiment.
and I stamped my envelope and even put a real piece of washi tape on the back to seal it.  I love real washi tape also because it's mostly see through and it lets my stamped images shine through. Can you tell which one is the real washi tape and which ones are stamped?
