ANOTHER JUST BELIEVE CARD
I made this card when I was visiting a friend in Atlantic City. We had a big crafting get away and we had so much fun. We were very productive too! This card uses the stamp set Just Believe. I also wanted to show that you can make a vase from the large oval punch. You can cut either end off and make it a flower holder. I embossed the vase and also the card and pumpkin pie scalloped accent piece with the Big Shot and SU! embossing folder.

When I first got my new 2010-2011 SU! catalog there was one particular stamp set I knew I had to have! If you are a tea totaler or a coffee drinker, you will understand. Or...perhaps you just love what teacups, coffee mugs, percolators, tea kettles and the like stand for. Morning Cup (#116988 wood mount or #120489 clear mount) would be the stamp set for you. Here are 2 cards I made using this stamp set. The first one is my original design. The second one I cased from a sample at my upline Janet Wakeland's collection. I really love this stamp set. There is also a coordinating wheel called Take a Sip #120323. I also want to point out that in the card I have also used our new ribbon punch - dotted scallop ribbon border. It is so cool!
I think the sentiment on this second card is just perfect - "caffeine isn't a drug, it's a vitamin!" Some days that is so true!

CHRISTMAS COLLAGE
Christmas Collage is a brand new stamp in the new Holiday Mini Catalog. What I love about this stamp is that you can use the entire stamp or you can use sections of it. It is really elegant. I chose to stamp the section that has silent night. We stamped it in rich razzleberry on shimmery white card stock and then with a sponge brushed some of the ink along the edges. The card stock behind that is bashful blue stamped with serene snowflakes and the same colored ink. Then the embossed portion uses shimmery white and the vintage wallpaper design. The card base is night of navy. Do you like the ribbon addition? It is taffeta in the color rich razzleberry. Really nice!
The stamped 25 is also from the same stamp - just a different section. I used the 1 3/4 inch circle punch for that and backed it with a scallop die from the pennant die for the Big Shot. The sentiment inside the card and on the envelope is from the stamp set Bright Christmas. This is a 3rd card from the Christmas card class
this past week. I held the class Tuesday and repeated it Thursday. My guests really enjoyed making these cards and so did I. I'm really getting a nice collection to mail out this holiday season.

MORE FROM THE CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS
This is another card I demonstrated in class last night and will demo again in the follow up class on Thursday. I received this card idea in a swap at the Remarkables Team Meeting last month. My sideline - Susan Brummer - was the designer. I modified it by using the glimmer brads in silver (I love these new glitter brads in the NEW HOLIDAY MINI catalog) and I used a different stamped ornament punch. Susan uses the ornament from the stamp set Delightful Decorations (still available), and I used one from the New Holiday Mini called Tags Til Christmas. The ribbon is red satin and also made by SU! I drew the ornament hook in with my real red marker.
The sentiment a Christmas Greeting is from that set also and I used a medium oval punch to punch it out. I really love how several of our stamp sets have ornaments in them, especially since we have this punch. The other set that has an ornament in it is Contempo Christmas (see this post for the image).
Note how I centered one of our sticky back rhinestones on the ornament. I used the largest rhinestone on the sheet. The inside of the card is stamped with Dec. 25 - which is also part of Tags Til Christmas. I embossed it with silver craft ink and iridescent ice embossing powder. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the stamp set Christmas Greetings. I also wanted to point out that my card has a personalized stamp inside. These are really great to have made up and SU! can make up any personalization you like. I personalized mine with sentiment and then the names of our family. All of the sentiments are done in silver encore ink, but they could easily be embossed with silver embossing powder if you didn't have that ink. I love the professional look of the card.
Lastly, the ultra smooth white card stock on the front is embossed using a new Big Shot Embossing Folder called Elegant Lines (exclusive to SU!) After I cased this card from Susan, I remembered that I had a brand new Snowflakes embossing folder in the new Holiday Mini and I will use that next time I make this card because I think the snowflakes would be beautiful. The card front, the envelope, and the ornament are all spritzed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spray.
Here is the original card by Susan!
I love both of them!

CHRISTMAS CARD FOR CLASS TONIGHT
This card uses BRAND NEW DSP called Deck the Halls and the BRAND NEW STAMP sets called Bells and Boughs (holly) and Bright Christmas (sentiment).
It is a fun fold card with a flap. Do you see the ribbon I used? Guess what? It is the NEW seam binding by SU! in cherry cobbler. It also comes in always artichoke and very vanilla. This stuff makes the most wonderful ribbon and it is fabulous for the Holidays. This card has a little bit of a vintage feel to it. I'll be doing a whole class on vintage in November. If you like this style or just want to know what it is all about, I hope you will take the class. I also have more holiday card making classes this month and next.
Check out my website for the class listing!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM!
Today is Kim's birthday. Kim is a NICU nurse where I work and she is just so kind and caring. She remembers every one's birthday and she is in charge of the sunshine club. Well, today is her birthday so I wanted to give her this fun fold card. I used some dsp and die cut stickers from a catalog or two ago but I loved the colors and all as they were so cheery that I know Kim will love the card. Happy Birthday Kim!

BACK TO SCHOOL
I cased this card from someone and I can't remember who as I made this card a couple of weeks ago. If it is your original idea let me know to give you credit. The original card had 2 plus 2 equals 4, and mine has 2 plus 3 equals 5 because I used some precut numbers and this is what I had. I just loved the idea of this card. It is so cool for teachers and anyone in the education field. I punched the owl using our new owl punch and the books are from the word window. I love how the owl has chalk! Really cool card and I'm going to send it to one of my son's teachers!

SYMPATHY CARD
Unfortunately, my mother's friend passed away this past week from cancer. It had metastasized everywhere and she was in a lot of pain. I had sent my mother a card to send her and on the day my mom received it is when her dear friend left her. My mother wants to send a card to her friend's daughter. I thought this one would be a good one. It uses cameo coral cardstock (available in the clearance section on my website for only $2.99 a pack!), the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (flowers done with the reinker spread technique on shimmer paper - you can actually see the shimmer just click on the photo of the card to see even closer) and the sentiment from thoughts and prayers. My mother's friend will truly be missed.
