HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA

Sunday is Amanda's Birthday. I wanted to make a card for her. This first card uses new IN COLORS rich razzleberry, melon mambo and crushed curry card stock. I also used the new dotted ribbon in crushed curry and a rhinestone brad that matches. The background of the card is stamped with the stamp tres chic and is done in rich razzleberry classic ink. The happy birthday sentiment in the circle is from teeny tiny wishes. The dsp is razzleberry lemonade. The envelope is stamped with her name from the new Jumble alphabet and a variety of other under 10 stamps! I highlighted her name with crystal effects and sprinkled the card and envelope with dazzling diamonds because Amanda loves glitter.

This second card is done using the chef from Voila. I made this card for the staff in the NICU to sign for her and we had a surprise party at work for her yesterday. The card base is crushed curry, layered with old olive and bermuda bay. The chef is stamped on whisper white and watercolored and then glittered. The same sentiment is used from teeny tiny wishes. The ribbons are bermuda bay and dusty durango dotted grosgrain.

On A Pedestal

This card uses the new SU! stamp set On A Pedestal. It is a fabulous set. You can put almost anything on this cake stand. The set is pretty inexpensive also - only $19.95 (#113814). I stamped the images on whisper white card stock using rich razzleberry ink. I added dazzling diamonds to the top of the cake for a nice shimmer. These images were placed on razzleberry lemonade dsp, which was backed by crushed curry card stock. I embossed birthday sentiments in white from the set on your birthday. The card base is rich razzleberry that I embossed with the Big Shot Texturz. I love this effect.

NEW IN COLOR SAMPLE

I've started to play with the new IN COLORS for SU! 09-10. I made this one last weekend using the new Stamp Set from SU! called Circle Circus. I love circles so this was a definite must have stamp set for me. It also nicely matches our decor elements by a similar name. My card base is pixie pink card stock, one of our exclusive 48 colors. I then stamped the images in melon mambo which is one of the NEW IN COLORS. I am really liking this color a lot. Next I ran the card through the BIG SHOT using a SU! texture plate to get the larger dots. I then brushed craft white ink on the card. The thinking of you was punched with our new punch and new magnetic BIG SHOT die for the movers and shakers.

SYMPATHY CARD

The Clinical Partner RN in the NICU - Kim W. - asked me to make a sympathy card for one of the nurses who lost her grandmother this week. I knew right away which card I wanted to make and I wanted to use our retiring IN COLORS. I am sorry to hear of her loss and hope she likes the card. The card base is riding hood red card stock. I used the same card stock for the flower which is the simple flower sizzlet for the BIG SHOT. The top textured paper is baja breeze card stock that I texturized with a BIG SHOT texture plate (kit #4 with the definition of friend on it). The bottom is our special heavy weight dsp (it is almost the wt. of card stock) called sweet slumber. The ribbon is striped kiwi kiss grosgrain from SU! and the button is summer sun corduroy. I love those. The leaves are punched with kiwi kiss card stock with the 5 flower punch, also exclusive to SU! The sentiment is Sharing in your Sorrow from SU! Thoughts and Prayers.
