Greetings Friends! SU! has released a new catalog and there are a lot of great deals to be had in the form of BUNDLES. These are stamps and either coordinating framelits, punches or project life coordinates that you can SAVE money on if you buy them together. In addition, when you select a bundle, you have products that work together splendidly.
For my post today I chose the BUNDLE SIX SIDED Stamp set and the HEXAGON PUNCH. Make sure you purchase these together to SAVE (In the catalog, there are special order numbers highlighted to order these bundles so that you get them at a discount).
I saw the first card I made in the NEW SU! IDEA BOOK and fell in love with the card. So of course I CASED it for you here.
I stamped the hexagons in TIP TOP TAUPE a Brand NEW IN COLOR for SU! this year, as well as SOFT SKY. On some of the hexagons, the color looks lighter. The reason for this is that I "stamped off" some of the color first and then when I stamped it the second time, it stamps lighter. It's a great way to get more bang for your buck with the colors. I also added the spritz stamp from the stamp set GORGEOUS GRUNGE (see that in the photo toward the end of the post). This card is almost exactly like the one in the catalog, except that I used SOFT SLATE Taffeta ribbon (NEW in the catalog this year) and I added more rhinestones. I love glitz! The butterfly is die cut with the NEW BUTTERFLY BUNDLE framelit.
For my next sample, I also used the SIX SIDED Stamp set and Hexagon punch by SU! The colors are SOFT SKY and LOST LAGOON (one of the IN COLORS released last year and current until it retires next May). LOST LAGOON is the darker blue coloring. Look at the soft sky card stock behind the punched hexagons. I embossed that with the NEW BUTTERFLY embossing folder. It's terrific. I highlighted the butterflies by swiping the card stock with Whisper White Craft Ink after I dry embossed with the Big Shot.
The butterflies that were stamped and punched are stamped with the stamp set PAPILLON POTPOURRI. I also stamped with the spritz stamp from GORGEOUS GRUNGE. I not only used the blue colors, I also stamped with ENCORE GOLD craft ink. Grunge is certainly "in."
Below are 2 of the extra sets I used. The PAPILLON POTPOURRI coordinates with the 2 BUTTERFLY PUNCHES (small and large sizes) by SU! I just love how there are so many items that coordinate and are timeless. All of the stamp sets I used for these samples are definitely timeless and stamp sets you will use over and over again. The BLOSSOM ACCENTS on the front of the card that are 3 Dimensional are NEW this year also in the embellishments selection. These are beautiful additions to your crafting projects. The blossom color I used for this card is MINT MACARON.
Here's a look at the BUNDLE I'm featuring. I love the sentiments this stamp set has. I love the patterns and you will too.
So...Do you want more BUNDLE IDEAS? Ok, let's continue the tour!
This month and in the months to come we will be sharing ideas on how to create more with the SU! Bundles. Please click HERE or on the graphic below to take you to the next REMARKABLE STAMPER on the tour!
