This month we are featuring Stampin Up!'s NEW IN COLORS. Each year I love the NEW colors more and more. These are pretty cool colors - TIP TOP TAUPE, CUCUMBER CRUSH, WATERMELON WONDER, MINT MACARON and DELIGHTFUL DIJON.
I am featuring a card using Tip Top Taupe Card stock stamped with the same color ink using the Hardwood stamp. Next I stamped butterflies from the NEW STAMP SET called WATERCOLOR WINGS.
I stamped the base color off once and then stamped it to whisper white card stock. I then coordinated with the next stamp the same color full strength. The bodies and the antennae are stamped in black memento ink. All of the butterflies were die cut using the NEW coordinating framelits Butterfly Thinlits and Bold Butterfly Framelits.
For these next two cards I cased a demo in the UK who actually made a much smaller card. I used A Cherry on Top designer stacks of dsp (these are 6 x 6 packs that are so nice and colorful) and die cut the various pieces. The stamp set is the SPRINKLES OF LIFE which is the Ronald McDonald stamp set for this year. That means that a portion of the fee is collected and donated to the charity. This stamp set has a coordinating punch that makes it really easy to cut out the stamped pieces.
The lace ribbons coordinate with the IN COLORS and are so delicate. I also love the wood die cut CELEBRATE. Go SU! giving us such cool new products to play with.
