Today, Sandi, Lisa, Hsiao-hui and I as well as several other friends of ours are headed to LANCASTER, PA for the
Creating Keepsakes SCRAPBOOKING Convention
It's going to be awesome. It's going to be a GREAT GIRLS WEEKEND. I've gone several years in a row and always come home having learned so many NEW and fun techniques for scrapbooking, card making and paper crafting. I usually take a few classes and go to a few crops, meet up with the CKC staff, some of whom I'm great friends with, and then just have fun shopping!!! I can't wait to see what is NEW and EXCITING. We'll post a few pics of our visit and will be sure to share things we've learned in upcoming posts.
What is a scrapbook convention?
- A place to to take classes where you learn new techniques
- A great way to meet other people that love to scrapbook, make cards, create mini-albums, and more
- A time to catch up on projects you need to complete while chatting with friends at the evening crops
- A shopping extravaganza that includes the latest scrapbooking products, deals on basic supplies, with a few make-and-takes mixed in so you can play with the product before you buy it
- The perfect excuse to get the girls together for a weekend of creativity, food, fun, and lots of memories
