Hsiao-hui Lin is very creative and who knew she was funny also? Well, for
Hsiao-hui's card, she did a take on who is on
Santa's Naughty and Nice List. For our card exchange, it was suggested that we use
My Digital Studio (MDS) to make our cards. Most of the demonstrators used it in some form, either on a card or a gift. A few did not. For those who didn't do
MDS, they are supposed to go on the naughty list...hmmm hmmm!!! Too funny. Notice that I have not checked anyone off. I'm putting everyone on the NICE list regardless because I know that all of the demonstrators want
SU! for Christmas and I want everyone to get all that is on their list!
Hsiao-hui used
MDS on her card which is layered on real red card stock that she embossed with the
Big Shot and the
SU! square lattice embossing folder.
Hsiao-hui stamped her envelope and also stamped the inside of her card. Click on the photo above to read the card a little easier.
Hsiao-hui used the
Top Note die for the inside white card stock piece that she stamped the sentiment on and on which she hand signed.
Here's
Hsiao-hui's home made gifts.
Hsiao-hui made her gift specifically for
Lisa Chatterjee. Lisa was sick the night of the exchange but
Hsiao-hui gave us a sneak peek.
This first gift was completely hand made except for the clear acrylic frame. Everything inside was hand colored or stamped or made using
My Digital Studio.
I wish you could see this gift up close. It really sparkles. This is really an amazing project.
As if that wasn't enough,
Hsiao-hui also made
Lisa this metal magnet countdown to
Christmas calendar. I think she got the idea from one of
Jan Wakeland's meetings. We saw a very similar project at
Jan's home. As you countdown to
Christmas you can either remove the magnets for you can have no magnets on the project and add them as you go along. Really cool.
Lisa is going to love both of these.
