Each day I will feature a different demonstrator's gift and card from our Holiday Gift/Card Exchange. Today is Arleen Graham's day. Arleen made a great card using My Digital Studio. With MDS - you have the option to print yourself or to have SU! do it. Arleen chose to print the outside of the card and layer it on card stock. The inside is also MDS.
Here's the inside enlarged quite a bit. Arleen personalized each card with a really sweet message for each recipient.
Above is a photo of my card Arleen made with both she and I.
I also wanted to show the gifts that Arleen made. In this first photo, Arleen and Linda are pictured with Arleen's gifts. Arleen had Linda for the exchange.
In this photo, Linda is wearing the scarf that Arleen made. Arleen used a new technique called crochet-knit, which she promises to teach to all of us.
Arleen also made Linda a framed piece. Arleen made this 3 dimensional frame from a SU! card board shipping box. How cool is that? She used spice cake papers from SU! which are really beautiful. On the sly, Arleen received the photo of Linda's boys from me so that she could put it in the frame. The boys were photographed in Bar Harbor, Maine, and Arleen put that description in the Hodge Podge on front of the frame.
This photo has a bit of motion to it, but it's Linda in action wrapping her new scarf around her neck. In 2 weeks we are going to NYC for a Holiday Extravaganza/Broadway trip and this is going to be a perfect addition to Linda's Holiday attire.
Although I have a cool video for tomorrow's post (make sure you see it), I'll be back with another demonstrator's gifts and card on Friday.
