PHOTOS FROM ON STAGE BALTIMORE - NEW OCCASIONS AND SALEABRATION COMING SOON - WEEKLY SU! DEALS

Hi Friends
I was able to go to a great Convention for SU! over the weekend.  It was a global convention and the local stage was in Baltimore. It was so much fun to re connect with old friends and meet new ones and to see what is going on in the world of SU!  Lots of NEW coming soon.  Today I'll share some sneak peeks which will be available in January.
These were my great table mates - me, Barb Holicky, Lisa Chatterjee, Heather Lindstrom and Cindy Geskey.  We had so much fun!
This is me holding the NEW OCCASIONS catalog which goes live in January.  You will WANT ALMOST EVERYTHING in this catalog so if you receive holiday money, hold onto it!
We had so much fun together, seeing and playing with NEW PRODUCT, going out for great fun, stamping!!!!! and meeting up with friends.  SU! put on a great convention!  This is my SMASH book layout with some of the handouts from the table, and then some printed photos using my ZINK printer.
SU! gave us great tumblers in GOLD!  Did you know that gold is one of the hot colors this season?  We also got some cool planners. Thank you SU!
My friend Lisa Chatterjee organized a REMARKABLES SWAP.  It was one of the best ever.  I'm showcasing different cards from the swap in posts here this week.
These are my friends Pam and Tracie.  We dined out two nights in a row with Rosemary Morgan.  We had such a great time!

This is Carolyn Serviss and I.  Carolyn is one of my dearest friends from SU! and the REMARKABLE STAMPERS. Love this gal!
We had so much fun with all of the sequins on the table.  I think I added them to every project we made.  Some of the ladies at the table gathered them and put them in their badge holders.  So cool!
What was the chance of this happening?  All three of us had the same RICH RAZZLEBERRY SU! Prize Patrol Pin. We were all winners.  We took home a lot of things - 3 stamp sets and some cool papers and all of the other things I mentioned.  They also gave us a great lunch!
This is one of the NEW PRODUCT SUITES called BOTANICAL GARDENS.  I love the new dies, the new stamps and the new papers and embellishments.  I'll feature more cool products soon.  I added sequins to my project.  They had cool specially designed grid paper for us also. This is a must have product for everyone.  Helps so much with lining things up.
Just wait until you see more.  In the meantime, it's holiday season and there are some cool products in the HOLIDAY CATALOG which is current and which you can still purchase from while supplies last.  Do you have your Christmas cards completed?

BALTIMORE ON STAGE CONVENTION - REMARKABLE SWAPS - 1 AND RETIRING HOLIDAY CATALOG PRODUCTS WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Today I'm sharing swaps from the Baltimore On Stage Convention.  For those who want to see the RETIRING SU! Holiday List go HERE right now or you can view at the end of the post.

Here are the first group of swaps from the REMARKABLE STAMPERS swaps from ON STAGE BALTIMORE.  Some very talented ladies.  Now for this particular group I think I know who made each swap. Some people put their names with the swap and others didn't.  This particular group I happened to connect the faces with the swaps.
This first swap is from the coordinator - LISA CHATTERJEE.  Lovely Lovely card and it uses my favorite LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES.
I'm pretty sure this one is from Crafty Pesci and I know that because she asked me which sentiment I wanted on my card.  Really nicely done.
I believe that Heather Lindstrom created this adorable card.  She told us at our table during the convention how her daughter loved helping her color in this penguin. He is quite the cutie pie.
OMG! This card has so much dimension.  Cindy Geskey created this awesome card.  You definitely can tell if you see the inside below. Cindy is known for the inside of her cards.
The card below I believe was created by Carol Slack. Carol is very talented. She has a knack for putting some pretty cool scenes together.  She used several stamps on this card and I really love this creation.  I love the dog and the cool cat sitting a top the handmade brick wall.
These are some very talented swappers.  Thanks ladies.  More swaps coming soon!

Now for the retiring Holiday Products.  These are available while supplies last or until Jan 4th.  Some of the products on the list you do NOT want to miss.  Order now at www.scrappinriri.stampinup.net

Oh No!  In addition to many cool papers, stamps, embellishments and kits, the wooden snowflakes, the reindeer clips, the gold and silver cording are on the list!  I love those!  I'll be stocking up at least on the cording because it's really glitzy and perfect for crafting needs all year round.  Lots of other things to get as well.  I did prestock on snowflakes as I used them on my tags and gifts and got some reindeer clips for Project Life! I'm doing a December Daily book that I've shown some of in previous posts.  ORDER FROM ME HERE!

ON STAGE BALTIMORE - MARIA'S SWAPS - LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES

I attended SU! ON STAGE Baltimore this past weekend.  What a fun event.  Demonstrators from all over the world were together seeing the NEW OCCASIONS and NEW SALEBRATION catalogs which go live for all demonstrators in just a few days.  I think these catalogs are amazing and I can't wait to share the new ideas with you.  I know we are not through the holidays yet - Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner.  We still have holiday cards to make so don't worry, we will.

One of the best parts of these conventions is meeting all kinds of SU! friends including many new ones.  I also love to swap and my friend Lisa Chatterjee organized a REMARKABLE STAMPERS swap which was really cool.

I chose one of my favorite NEW Stamp sets - LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES - which I embossed with gold embossing powder and then hand watercolored with some pretty almost spring colors which I think work well for winter also. The card base is pool party and I dry embossed that card base with the large dots embossing folder for SU! In the next day or so I'll share some of the swaps I received in exchange.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS - REMARKABLE STAMPERS HOLIDAY BUNDLE BLOG TOUR

Happy Upcoming Holidays Everyone!  Have you started your holiday cards and crafts yet?  I've been working slowly over the last several weeks to draft my family letter and photos and I've been working on my cards.  Since we are showcasing SU! BUNDLES, I've chosen a holiday bundle - FLURRY OF WISHES - to share.

This next card is CASED from the Holiday Catalog by SU!
It's great when you can stamp the images and then have a
coordinating punch to punch them out.
My images were mostly embossed with embossing powder.
Have you tried the Corrugated Card Stock from SU! yet?
I didn't realize how nice it was until I tried it
at the RHR a few weekends ago.
Jan had some scraps in the scrap bin.
It's a fine corrugation and a very nice embellishment.
I will definitely have this on my next order!
Notice that I added a lot of sequins to these cards.
This is a fun embellishment that makes any card really shine!
Now head over to the next BLOGGER on the tour - Michele Reynolds - for more REMARKABLE HOLIDAY BUNDLE GOODNESS.

WISHING YOU JOY - LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES AND REMARKABLE HOLIDAY BUNDLE TOUR THIS THURSDAY - WEEKLY DEALS - AND SPIDER WEB DOILY IDEAS

Another LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES card using the SU! stamp set.
I used the NEW SU! Tri Corner Punch on this card.  Not sure if you can tell but I stamped the maple leaf and die cut it and then added it to the card using dimensionals. I die cut the JOY with the SU! letters framelits. I'm really getting a lot of use out of these.  Definitely need to be in your framelit/thinlets collection.

Also, I want to remind everyone that the REMARKABLE STAMPERS have a HOLIDAY BUNDLE BLOG TOUR THIS THURSDAY at  8 pm EST.  Please return here for the great tour.

LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES - A NEW FAVORITE SU! STAMP SET

I'm going to be sharing some cards and projects over the next couple of weeks featuring a SU! stamp set that I just had to have - LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES.  Check Pinterest and you just do a search and a gazillion samples come up. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp set.  It's very versatile and coordinates with the leaves framelits by SU!  Here's my first project - somewhat cased from Pinterest. And I just learned that this was Connie Babbert's original design.  I think the original had gold cording rather than the gold glimmer paper.  This may be my Thanksgiving card this year.
The background is embossed with the WOODLANDS embossing folder from SU! which is HOT HOT HOT! these days!

PROJECT HELLO 2 DECEMBER 2015 - PROJECT LIFE - SU!

I love SU! and Project Life.  I love December and the Holidays and preparing for them.  I want to really savor these days.  I'm working on my own project life book that I have previously started sharing.  I am also including the blog post from SU!

A Plan for Hello December 2015

Photo 1
Project Life Hello December 2015 is all about helping you document those special moments,  traditions, and fun activities you enjoy with family and friends during the merry month of December.
Almost everyone takes photos on camera phones these days, and for me it has become natural to capture a moment using my phone. Hello December 2015 provides an accessible, fun approach to documenting and sharing your December photos and memories in one simple album.
Photo 2
All you need is the Kraft 6" x 8" Project Life Album (item 139655), Project Life Photo Pocket Pages (item 135297), the Hello December 2015 Project Life Card Collection (item 139653), the Hello December 2015 Project Life Accessory Pack (item 139654), and the Project Life Hello December 2015 Stamp Set (item 139809). (Please note: you will most likely require more than one set of photo pages.)
Better yet, you can purchase the Project Life Hello December 2015 bundle (item 140305) and get a fifteen percent discount! It includes the card collection, accessory pack, and coordinating stamp set.
Project Life is not meant to be overwhelming or stressful. The whole idea is to spend time making memories, not documenting them. Hello December 2015 helps you quickly and easily capture the 25 days leading up to December 25—all of those stories of December—from the treats and the decorations to the traditions and activities.
Photo 3
The first image for this year’s album was the last photo from my Christmas 2014 album, printed as a 6" x 8" and made into the cover page; I added the title using elements included in the Hello December accessory pack. We are an “Elf on the Shelf” family, and last year the adventures of these two characters featured heavily in my album.
Speaking from experience (and many who have taken part in Hello December during past years would agree) the key to keeping the process simple is to set up the album structure before December. My first step is to write out all of the events I know are coming up in December; this page is merely designed to assist me in recording the events. After December, I replace the draft with a final calendar. (When I look back at past Hello December albums, I can see that as a family, we do have little traditions that happen each year!)
Photo 4
Your goal is to tell one story each day on one layout each day. Most of the layouts will feature Christmas. However, they don’t have to, as sometimes the everyday events that keep us busy in December are the stories we really want to remember.
Photo 5
Knowing when events will fall helps when it comes time to place journaling and filler cards in the pockets. For example, I’m aware that Santa will be visited on the 12th, so I have added a card suitable for that event.
Photo 6
When I first heard about Hello December a few years ago, I was worried that my life was just not that exciting. I have since heard from friends and customers that they feel the same. Now I think: “Why was I so worried? December is always my busiest month!” When I started to write down all the events that make up December, I saw that I had something planned for 70 percent of the month.
For days with nothing planned, I simply note the day of the week and place a filler card. These days give me the chance to highlight something I love about the season—like the Christmas CD I have playing in my car or the holiday mail I receive from a friend or that yummy treat that only comes at Christmas time.
Photo 7
Now that the album has been laid out, most of the work has been done. Then you just need to add your photos and journaling as you celebrate the season. Hello December is such a fun tradition to begin, and it enhances the holidays as you share and enjoy memories.
If you are like I was and feel that you do not do enough to join the Project Life Hello December fun, here are a few photo prompts to help your creativity flow. Please leave a comment below if you have a suggestion to add to our list!
