HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

A very HAPPY FATHER's DAY to all of the Father's, Grandfather's, Uncles, brothers, Godfather's and anyone out there who celebrates this special day!

STAMPIN SISTAH'S ARE STAMPING TODAY!

I'm so EXCITED.  We have our bimonthly STAMPIN SISTAH'S  Event today.  We are stamping and crafting and doing some NEW MDS also.  First up we are doing some cool NEW cards.  These cards are made using BRAND NEW SU! stamps, card stock, embellishments, designer paper and more.  This is such a FUN and LOVING group of women that I'm so happy to be a part of.   Since we will be meeting a little later this am, I will first share my WOW card and either later today (depends on just how much FUN we have) or on Monday, I'll share some more.  In fact, I'll share everything we make.  I will, however, be keeping the Stampin Sistah's secrets well wrapped up.  We share a whole lot and we really enjoy being together.

Here's my card.  I decided to use the BRAND NEW stamp set called MOVING FORWARD.  This is a really cool set.  I am going to be making so many neat things with this set.  I want to encourage EVERYONE to ORDER THIS SET because this is the RONALD MCDONALD CHARITY set.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this set goes to the charity.  In 2013, this will be the charity that our Stampin Sistah's sponsor.  Please help out by purchasing this set today.  You won't be disappointed.  It's a FABULOUS set.

 I LOVE this bicycle.  And isn't the Frog adorable springing from the basket?  The colors used for the card stock are the NEW IN COLORS - RASPBERRY RIPPLE and PRIMROSE PETALS.

BLOOMING WITH KINDNESS - BRAND NEW SU!

I just couldn't wait to share this card with you.  This has to be one of the BEST NEW stamp sets SU! is offering this year.  It's called BLOOMING WITH KINDNESS.  I love all of the sentiments and the font they were written in.  The flower is amazing.  This card was CASED from Janet Wakeland, my upline at the most recent DREAMBUILDER event.  Do you want to learn how to make gorgeous cards like this?  Let me know and we can set up a workshop or class for you.

A few things to note about this card.  The flower is stamped with the BRAND NEW IN COLOR and NEW STYLE INK PAD - PRIMROSE PETALS.  The early espresso card stock lace border is a BRAND NEW EDGELIT called FINISHING TOUCHES.  I LOVE these edgelits and framelits.  They are so easy to use with the BIG SHOT.  Speaking of framelits....the Warmest Wishes is stamped on a a NEW FRAMELIT called APOTHECARY ACCENTS.  

The sticky back XL pearl adds the coolest touch, along with the taffeta ribbon.

FOR THE BIRDS - SEVERAL BRAND NEW SU! CARDS

This is one of my NEW FAVORITE STAMP SETS by SU!  This set was just released with the NEW IDEA BOOK.  These cards were made using this set and some embellishments.  The set is called FOR THE BIRDS.  It's a great set that can be stamped and colored in or just stamped and left plain.  The original ideas are my upline's - Janet Wakeland.  I made this cards at her house on  Monday. MDS- A DAY OUT WITH FRIENDS

Monday, Lisa, Sandi and I headed to our upline Janet Wakeland's home to enjoy the day stamping!  It was a wonderful day.  Jan had the room filled with demonstrators, most of whom we know from team meetings.  It was a great day to talk about the NEW SU! IDEA BOOK and all of the great NEW PRODUCTS SU! has come out with.  The three of us took a nice lunch break and sat outside and got this wonderful photo.  I decided to use the NEW FAN FAIR collection for My Digital Studio - MDS, and create this page right out of the photobook that comes with the FAN FAIR DVD.  So quick and easy.

REMARKABLE TEAM SWAP CARD - BETSY'S BLOSSOMS

I'm in love with the NEW FLORAL DISTRICT dsp from SU!  I love the colors and I love how cheery this paper is.  I used this paper for my REMARKABLE SWAP card.  We were asked to make a card using some NEW SU!  I chose BETSY's BLOSSOMS for my stamp set to feature.  Can you tell I really like this set?  Put it on your list because it is a great stamp set. Using colors in the dsp - gumball green, summer starfruit and rich razzleberry, I went to town stamping and crafting.

I used the dsp for the banner.  All this card needed was just a tiny bit and it really made the card.  Using the FLORAL FUSION sizzlet, I die cut and dimensionalized the flower.  I'm not sure you can tell it's 3D in this photo, but it is.  I added the XL pearls to the center of the flowers and then the second to the smallest pearls for the bird's eye.

The THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH is from the stamp set DELIGHTFUL DOZEN,which is another stamp set from SU! that is a MUST HAVE greetings set.

I haven't gotten my swaps in the mail yet, but I couldn't help but share the one that I submitted.  More BRAND NEW SU! to come.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY/ NEW SU! BLUE RIBBON

Here's a BRAND NEW SU! card I made.  It's for FATHER's DAY!  Today, I spent the day at my upline Janet Wakeland's home stamping with NEW SU! stamp sets and accessories.  What an AWESOME DAY!  One of the stamp sets I tried out is the BRAND NEW set called BLUE RIBBON!  I love this set!  The possibilities are endless.  There's a lot you can do with this set and a father's day card is the first thing I thought of. 

I also used BRAND NEW EMBOSSING FOLDERS - CHEVRON (chocolate chip colored top note) and  ARGYLE folder (summer starfruit background card stock).  The other cool thing is that the chocolate chip striped dsp was die cut with NEW FRAMELITS BANNERS.  These are so cool.  If you haven't tried these out yet, YOU MUST!  Call me for a private class or workshop.  The DAD stamp in real red is from the stamp set FAMILY REUNION.  I also like the other options in the set like UNCLE.    ps. I also wanted to let you know that the scallop circle punch works really well with this set, so too do the circle punches!

SEASON BY SEASON - NEW MDS

I just purchased a whole lot of My Digital Studio stamp brush sets and papers and embellishments and more.  I love this premade page Season by Season, which I embellished.  I added stamps and text and photo of myself at sunset at Marco Island Florida.  My Digital Studio is a fabulous digital program.  You can download premade pages like this one or design your own.  There is so much and the program has a FREE 30 day trial.  So you can see if you like it.  Call me if you want a private lesson.  My Digital Studio is the absolute BEST program for me.  I need very quick and easy and I LOVE how I can use SU! digital products or I can use digital products from any company that has jpeg or png files.  It's SUPER!

BRAND NEW PAPAYA COLLAGE

This is a card I made for my dear sweet friend Mary Jo B.  She nominated me for the compassionate caregiver award at work.  I was so honored.  She wrote an awesome letter about me and had supporting letters from my boss and others.  I was touched by this.

In a recent Stampin Success demonstrator magazine, they showed us how to roll thin strips of paper to make butterfly bodies.  Love this!

THANK YOU MRS. GREER

JP wanted to give his awesome 6th grade teacher a gift for the end of the school year.  He really liked MRS. GREER.  He said she was an awesome teacher.  He said she drinks coffee (hope so) - so of course we got her a Starbucks card and then he surprised me and took some extra money out of his bank and stuck it in the card for her.  We are going to miss you MRS. GREER.  Good luck in all you do in the future.

I used GREETING CARD KIDS for this project.  I embossed the cherry cobbler card stock with the lattice embossing folder.  The kids were watercolored to try to match the school colors. 

I took out my SU! gift card die for the BIG SHOT and it was perfect.  It holds a gift card in place so that it pops up when you open the card.  I used some older SU! to stamp the sentiment and the 6th grade teacher - SCHOOL LINES and FIRST DAY.

Of course the envelope matches the card perfectly.  It may not be easy to tell but the apple is embossed with crystal effects by SU!

JP personalized the card and envelope with a handwritten message.
I love little kids handwriting.  I probably shouldn't call my son a little kid....lol!
He's just completed 6th grade and is headed to 7th!!!  Whahoo!
