HAPPY EASTER CARDS

Here are some of the handmade Easter cards that I have received.  They are really beautiful. 
All are SU!

This first one is from Linda Kincaid.  It's so cute.  I love the bunny spreading Easter joy!

This next one is by Linda Murphy.  I love the chocolate bunny.  Linda handmade her envelope with SU! designer paper and the SU! scoring board and diagonal plate.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY - BY THE TIDE BY LISA - MUST SEE FUN FOLD CARD

I received so many awesome cards for my birthday.  They are all amazing.  I'm going to try to post some but I may not be able to post them all.  I'm getting ready to head to an all girls weekend and that's followed by a cruise with my sister Terri.  I can't wait.  Here's one of the cards I received from one of my BFF's - Lisa Chatterjee.  She made this amazing fun fold cards and the cool envelope is a box.  The stamps used are from BY THE TIDE by SU! which is available now in the OCCASIONS catalog until May 31st.  This stamp set is going to be featured in April in the REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH TOUR - so you'll need to make sure you stay tuned here for more great samples.

This envelope is actually a box envelope and it's made using the digital stamp brush set SENT WITH LOVE which is on sale at SU! right now!

 This is such a fabulous stamp set with the shells the lobster, the sea life and coral.  It's so cool.

 I really love the texture and the design is really well thought out.

QUEEN FOR A DAY - GOING TO BE ME!

This Saturday I am celebrating my birthday!  I actually celebrate in some form or another for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after.  I love celebrating special days so this makes for more festivities.  Last weekend I was surprised by my friends with a bowling surprise party.  It was so much fun.  This Saturday, I'm hoping to have a great afternoon with my family and hopefully we will get to the Easter Vigil at church.  Sunday is Easter and then after work on Monday, it's a dinner celebration with my guys.  The fun will continue for 2 weeks more, but my actual birthday is March 30th.  So no matter what, I'm going to hopefully feel like a queen that day.  Here's a card that we made at my upline JANET WAKELAND's home a few weeks ago that is in honor of the day!

This stamp set is from the OCCASIONS CATALOG by SU!.  The crown was embossed with sterling silver embossing powder by SU!  There is some vellum behind the die cut the crown lies on and there are actual rhinestones on the crown.  The background is the SU! FRENCH SCRIPT.

SNOW PLAY - ANOTHER MDS - IT SNOWED TODAY!

This am, we awoke to snow.  I took Luigi outside and grabbed the camera.  The snow is so pretty.  I have to head over to work, but because I have My Digital Studio by SU!  I was able to make a digital scrapbook page in less than 10 minutes.  The kids are off of school today and it's March 25th - 3 months after Christmas.  Yeah kids!

MARIA'S WINNING BOWLING TEAM - MDS MONDAY

My very best-est friends in the whole wide world surprised me on Saturday for my Milestone Birthday.  Under the ruse of meeting a few friends for the movies and lunch, I was surprised at the BOWLING ALLEY for a huge BIRTHDAY SURPRISE PARTY.  These ladies are just incredible.  I've only been talking about going bowling for the last year or so.  Seems like we hadn't been able to really coordinate our schedules to do this.  Little did I know we were going to have all this fun. 

We had such a blast.  Sandi bowled the best score.  I actually bowled a strike!  Everyone had fun even with some gutter balls (just found out that you can ask to have the gutters blocked off!!!???  who knew????) And Cindy, Lisa, Linda M, and Hsiao hui, had lots of great plays and even some 9's.  Cindy had the most 9's I think and Sandi the most spares.  Rita G. was our wonderful coach. And Pat and Arleen were great cheerleaders. It was just so much fun.  We were the PERFECT TEN BOWLING PARTY!  After the bowling fun, we had a great luncheon and moved the party next door to an ORIGINAL ITALIAN BAKERY for my TIRAMISU CAKE.  It was such an incredible day and an OVER THE TOP surprise.  I've got lots more photos to share, so watch for more MDS pages coming soon!  And if you are interested in making your own digital pages, you can with MDS by SU!  The price was recently reduced from $79.95 down to $19.95 and you get over $500 in FREE DIGITAL DOWNLOADS with it!  Go to my online store by clicking here.

PAPER PUMPKIN NEW SAMPLE AND LAST DAY OF SALEABRATION

I can't believe that Saleabration ends tonight at midnight!  Have you earned all of your saleabration products for FREE?  There were so many cool items to choose from.  I earned quite a few myself and I'm so happy.  Here's 2 last samples I want to share with you.  The first uses the stamp set from MY PAPER PUMPKIN - a subscription series with SU! - where you receive a kit in the mail each month.  I LOVE the stamp set it comes with.

I used the sycamore street DSP from SALEABRATION and mounted it to island indigo cs by SU!  I then ran the card through the lattice embossing folder for texture.  The HEY THERE FRIEND is the my paper pumpkin stamp set.  I LOVE IT.  ok, you know that already!  lol!  I also punched out a butterfly from the paper and used the ribbon I earned for FREE from saleabration as well.  You only have til midnight Mountain time (I think that's 2 am est) to order for SALEABRATION.  Don't delay any longer.  There's too much good offered for FREE.


The inside of my card uses the VINTAGE VERSES Stamp set from SALEABRATION.

This is a very cool stamp set and I used it again in the card below which was cased from SHELLI GARDNER - the CEO of SU!

 I couldn't tell in Shelli's photo on her site if her butterfly was punched out of vellum, but mine was.  I also added my FREE RIBBON.

MY PAPER PUMPKIN - MY TAKE ON THE KIT

I think this is the most fabulous gift you can give yourself!  It's called MY PAPER PUMPKIN and it's a papercraft kit that comes to your door every month and it's filled with surprises.  I shared yesterday that my kit arrived from STAMPIN UP!  Oh was I delighted and impressed with the quality.  I can use everything in the box, even the packaging!  The first kit comes with the most awesome stamp set that is every bit worth the price.  There is a FREE CLEAR BLOCK with your first kit that is an amazing deal.   Also in the kit was a basic gray ink spot?  Whoo hoo!  Gotta love that!  And all the ingredients to make some delicious cards.  (see below for some cards I made using the stamp set).

And...the card stock is basic gray to match the ink on the outside (and is textured) and then is white on the inside so you can write!!!

Now, here are some samples that I created using the stamp set and the paper pack that is in the OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG.  This first card is a slight take on a card I saw on Pinterest by Diana Gibbs and uses the Oh Hello stamp set by SU! and also the SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY stamp set that you can earn FREE for just 2 more days - today and tomorrow - with SU!  The phone booth is precious!  Makes me want to go to London!

This last card is also made with the mini card pack.  I made a banner (yes, they are still very hot!) and I used some butterflies I punched out with new butterfly punch from the SU! Occasions catalog.

I made this card for him using the SU! SALEBRATION SET - SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY.  This is such a wonderful set and I've created some really special cards with it.

The Ferris wheel reminds me of fun days as a youngster and traveling to the fair with my brother.  I combined it with the Up Up and Away stamp set.  Aren't the clouds adorable?

MDS MONDAY - CASING VAN DIEPEN

I am so ecstatic!  I found a really cool video over at My Digital Studio that created a wonderful panel of  hexagons by Kimberly Van Diepen.  I just had to case her page.

What I love about this page is not only how Kimberly made the cool hexagons and the panel, but how she layered designer papers.  If you watch her video, you'll see just how she layered the papers to get a really cool texture.  She called the video creating a sunshine panel.  This page creates more than sunshine, it creates happiness.  You'll find a lot of FREE videos over at www.mydigitalstudio.net - where you will learn the basics as well as intermediate and advanced techniques.  I watched Kim's video and in no time, was able to create my own page above.  I actually created my page before I decided what photo to put on the page and when I opened my photos, this photo of some of my coworkers and I over at ANDERSON LIVE popped up.  Little did I know that Amanda's scarf matched the layout.  Maybe it was luck of the Irish left over from St. Patty's day yesterday! Too funny!

NEW CARD FOR ST PATTY'S DAY - PINCH PROOF

I made this card using a BRAND NEW stamp from the Occasions Catalog by SU!  that coordinates with SU! BIG SHOT framelits.  Do you know which stamp I used?  I changed the inner circle of the stamp to  be a St. Patrick's day greeting.  One of my friends should have received this in the mail yesterday, unless the PO is a little late in which case it will arrive a day late.  It's just going a few towns over.  Is everyone enjoying their corned beef and cabbage?  We are only Irish today, but I think we will just make sure we get something green on our Italian dish!  LOL!

If I hold the card closed you can see the little accent piece of dsp I put inside the card from the SALEABRATION FREE offering SYCAMORE STREET (Saleabration ends this coming Friday but you still have time to earn some FREE items).

I used a variety of SU! St. Patrick's Day stamps I've collected over the years to complete the inside of the card and the envelopes.  The green color is WILD WASABI.  Love that green.  Notice too, that the card base is embossed with the BIG SHOT VINE STREET, another FREE SALEABRATION OFFERING!

The front and inside of the card do have a little bit of champagne shimmer paint spritz that I made up myself.  So in some parts the card may look a little wet, but it's the golden shimmer on the card and boy does this look super cool close up!
